I engaged Tanya to work on a one-off project for me, that’s one of the great things about working with a VA there is no commitment if you don’t want it. So it’s easy to give it a try. However the downside is that then you discover that the person you have engaged for one time happens to be like Tanya. Tanya is just a dream to work with. Before hiring Tanya, I was a little gun-shy since my experience hadn’t been good with V.A. outsourcing up to that point. Typically I’d ask people to do a task, make a training video showing them how I wanted it done, and they would do it differently. I’d ask them to redo it, and still I wouldn’t get back the quality of work I wanted. Eventually, I’d just say thank you, good enough, totally frustrated, and redo the work myself.

Tanya is reliable, enthusiastic, and catches on really really quickly to whatever I’ve asked her to do. She is quick to ask questions, which I love!, and doesn’t need any hand holding for a task. I trust her completely to do what I ask and she gives me regular updates on her progress without any prompting from me.

Another huge plus for me is her working knowledge of internet marketing generally. I can tell she has a feel for what I’m trying to accomplish and she even takes the time go above and beyond her duties to suggest ways she can help me do more of what I’m already doing. For example, just yesterday she got a reader email asking a question that was directly related to a product I’ll be launching soon. I have a bunch of canned responses set up for her to make it easy to reply to common questions. She asked whether she should hint at the upcoming product to create some anticipation and suggested creating a canned response as well. How great is that? A V.A. that takes initiative is a wonderful thing.
